ICC MOBILE KIT

Mobile Toolkit for Siding and Roofing:

Use this kit with the ICC Mobile app to find the best available match for damaged roofing or siding materials. The kit includes the ICC Siding gauge, colour cards for siding and roofing, and a carrying case.

ICC Mobile App F.A.Q.

1. How do I get an ICC Login & Password for the mobile app?

Before your first login, please call ICC at 705-435-7588 to obtain a username and password

2. What devices are supported?

The app supports iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. An internet connection is not required to perform a test, but the app will only send the submission to our technicians when a data connection is present

3. Is sending the data through the app secure?

Yes, the mobile app uses secure, encrypted connections for log-in and submission of photos and information.

4. Do I need special tools to use the app?

When you call into ICC to obtain your account information, we will send you a kit that contains tools specifically designed to help you accurately measure siding thickness and provide standardized colour data. In addition to the kit, you will need a tape measure, and for roofing claims a "Haag Shingle Guage"
Depending on individual insurer/contractor arrangements, there may be a cost for the measuring kit - please inquire when registering

5. Does the app tell me what photos and measurements I need?

Yes, the app provides a step-bystep workflow to help you gather the photos and measurements. Detailed instructions are also available within the app.

6. How long does it take to use the app and get a report?

After using the app once or twice, most users can submit the measurements and photos within 5-10 minutes. Once we receive your test, an ICC analyst will begin finding possible matches based on your measurements and photos. You will receive your report, uploaded to your device in less than 24 hours from your test submission.

7. What does the report provide?

The match report format is the same, as sending in a physical sample. The report will list up to two products that match the originally installed products, matching colours, and provide the location of the closest distributor for those products. In addtion, a Homeowner Report is also included and contains information to help explain the repair options available. You will receive your report, uploaded to your device in less than 24 hours or less than 30 minutes after your test submission, depending on which service you have chosen.
